Generally in the case of an earthquake I roll over and go back to sleep. If I feel the P-wave coming I rush to the nearest computer and get on geonet to see the seismograph record, or if at work I watch the seismologists cock their heads and count miles between P and S waves and argue about how far away it was and in what direction.
In case of a hurricane I dunno, I've never been in one.
In case of zombies, I barricade myself in the type room and spend my remaining hours with the dinosaur fossils, tooling up with a rockhammer when the zombies start to break down the door, and take as many with me as I can ...
